Darren Prashad at Merit Travel made our honeymoon the most amazing adventure we have ever been on – a trip up Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa!), the Ngorongoro crater, Stone Town and the beaches in Zanzibar. We encountered nature and animals up close and personal, breath-taking vistas, cultural interactions and exhilarating experiences. From the moment we contacted Darren to the email he sent upon our return home, we felt incredibly taken care of and we trusted the companies and tours that he paired us up with in Tanzania. They were safe, reliable and we now have the most incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Our honeymoon wouldn’t have been the same without Darren’s involvement. We are very grateful and look forward to planning our next trip with Darren and Merit soon!
We just wanted to send out a quick note to thank you and Merit for your help in finding us great vacation destinations with out Heart and Stroke lottery winnings. Nathan Bowler has been assisting us throughout the last 2 years in planning and implementing the best stress free, worry free and hassle free vacation packages.
We have now booked 4 vacations through Nathan, and each one so far has been flawless. We have been very impressed with his knowledge on each destination we have inquired about and with the fast responses we receive from him when we do have any questions. When we want to book a trip we just email him and everything is taken care of leaving us stress free. The few times we were confused about certain things we just had to do a quick call and/or email and we had a response in no time. My husbands 40th in Vegas was a last minute addition and Nathan booked it in no time and we had a fantastic stay at Cesar’s Palace!
Our experiences with Merit have been nothing but perfect. We will continue to book through Merit going forward. The deals were great, the locations fabulous, the resorts and hotels have been breathtaking and the excursions we have participated in have been fun and memorable. Our experiences have left us with so many great memories and we are so thankful to have had Nathan and Merit assist us on our travels and adventures. Nathan has been pleasant to deal with and we will be booking through him and Merit again when we head back to Jamaica!

The choice of the gorgeous, most impressive Casa de Campo resort in Dominican Republic was a most perfect one for our company trip and it did not disappoint in any way. In fact, it was one of the most beautiful places all 30+ of us had ever been to! Everything on the itinerary, thanks to you, was totally, top notch. You not only put so much thought into and organized a fantastic few days of incredible events, excursions, meals, etc., but you pulled everything off like clockwork. We can’t think of a single thing that didn’t go right!
The fact that you were there for us from beginning to end, including right there in the Dominican, put us at such ease, let us enjoy everything to the max, made us feel totally relaxed, and added such a nice quality to our trip. You have no idea how much your being there, in person, meant to us and to the enjoyment of every moment. The fact that you are such a kind, easy-going, friendly, helpful, fun, caring, enthusiastic human being and seasoned professional just made everything seem like a dream.
As for the skiing, it was fantastic!! The first day we got hit with over 50 cm of fresh snow. All the students were in awe. It was unlike anything they had ever experienced. The next day was total blue bird sky and lots of fresh powder.Thanks for organizing such a fantastic trip! I can’t thank you and your team enough. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Both the Paret family and ours had a fantastic ski trip to Tremblant experience during the Mach Break. The 1st Sunday was stellar! Cool temps and a bright sun led to sunburned faces all around as the adults enjoyed an afternoon at the patio between runs. Any rain we had after did not stop the kids from hitting the slopes and enjoying the vacation.
