Depart for Athens. Air Canada flight 846 departs Toronto at 8:20 p.m.
arrives Munich at 10:00 a.m. the following day. Connecting with Lufthansa
flight 1756 departs Munich at 12:10 p.m. arrives Athens at 3:35 p.m.

Day 2 | Mar. 9, 2018 | ATHENS — NEA MAKRI (D)
Upon arrival in Athens, proceed to collect your luggage and follow the
exit signs. Your local representative will meet you at the airport and
transfer you to Nea Makri.

Day 18 | Mar. 25 2018 | ATHENS (B)
ATHENS CITY TOUR: Depart from the hotel at 9 a.m. for a city tour
giving you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make
Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guide will take you to see
the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern
times were held in 1896 (short stop).
Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace),
guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniforms, the Temple of
Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial
to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National
Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma).
Continue and visit the Acropolis and the Architectural Masterpieces
of the Golden Age of Athens including: The Propylaea, the Temple
of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between
material and spirit”, and the monument that “puts order in the mind”,
the Parthenon.
Your last stop will be the New Acropolis Museum, where you will
admire the wonders of the Classical Era.

Day 19 | Mar. 26, 2018 | ATHENS—OLYMPIA (B, D)
After breakfast, transfer to Olympia by coach, via the coastal road
with a short stop at the Corinth Canal.
Your next stop will be the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its
remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion for a
short photo stop. Continue to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological
Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through
Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis.
This evening, enjoy a group dinner at the hotel.

Day 20 | Mar. 27, 2018 | OLYMPIA—DELPHI (B, D)
After breakfast, transfer to Delphi for your overnight stay.
Your tour begins with a visit to the Archaeological Site with
the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the
Archaeological Museum. Then continue driving through the plains of
Eliad and Achaia until you reach the magnificent bridge, which crosses
the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns
of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi for your overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Meteora. Perched on top of
huge rocks, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless
Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art,
with striking scenery!
Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and stop at Thermopylae to see
the Leonida’s Monument (short stop).
