DAY 1 | IN TRANSIT TO BEIJING
Fly to Beijing, the political, economic and cultural centre of the People’s Republic of China.

DAY 2 | ARRIVE IN BEIJING (D)
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring exciting Beijing at your leisure.
Evening enjoy the welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3 | BEIJING (B, L, D)
Visit historic Tiananmen Square where Mao Tse-tung first raised the flag of the People’s Republic. Then tour the Imperial Palace, also called the Forbidden City and its gardens.
After lunch, visit the Hutong by pedicab and take a leisurely stroll through the 700-year old narrow, winding streets that surround the Forbidden City. Watch the daily routines of the local people in their courtyard homes. You will also have a chance to visit the local elementary school.

DAY 4 | BEIJING (B, L, D)
This morning visit the Ming Tombs, the beautifully decorated burial place of the emperors of the Ming Dynasty also known as the Underground Palace. Nearby, the original roadway leading to the tomb is lined with marble statues.
After lunch experience the unforgettable! Visit one of the world’s most remarkable sights – the Great Wall of China, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. The Great Wall stretches over 6,000 km across the top of China.

DAY 5 | BEIJING (B, L, D)
Your full day excursion starts with a visit to the Beijing Zoo to see the adorable pandas. Next visit the exquisite Summer Palace, a former retreat for the Imperial family. Afterwards, drive by the Olympic site where you will see the National Stadium, which can accommodate 100,000 spectators!

DAY 6 | BEIJING - XI'AN (B, L, D)
In the morning, marvel at the splendid Temple of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Bountiful Harvests.
After lunch transfer to airport for flight to the ancient city of Xi'an. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Overnight at the Empress Hotel (2 nights)

DAY 7 | XI'AN (B, L, D)
Enjoy a full day excursion to some of Xi'an’s ancient monuments. The highlight is the incredible Grand Mausoleum of Qin Emperor Shi Huang Di, the first emperor of China. Protecting the emperor’s mausoleum are 6,000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses.
Set off toward the extraordinary Banpo Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Next, visit the City Wall of Xi'an.

DAY 8 | XI'AN - GUILIN (B, L, D)
This morning visit the famous Shaanxi Provincial Museum. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Overnight at the Osmanthus Hotel (2 nights)

DAY 9 | GUILIN (B, L, D)
Start the day with a scenic boat rip down the Li River offering 30 miles of breathtaking, mist-shrouded mountains rising from the riverbanks. Since ancient times, this landscape has been the subject of countless poems and paintings. You will also visit the city’s symbol, Elephant Trunk Hill.
Your cruise will end at the colourful market town of Yangshuo, where you have an opportunity to shop for delightful souvenirs and gifts before you return to Guilin.

DAY 10 | GUILIN - SHANGHAI (B, L, D)
Complete your amazing trip to China’s ancient and scenic wonderland by visiting the Reed Flute Cave and marvel at its limestone formations. Next, visit the fabulous Fubo Hill.
After lunch transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight at the Shanghai Centralstar Hotel (2 nights)

DAY 11 | SHANGHAI (B, L, D)
A full day of sightseeing will introduce you to the sights and sounds of this unique and modern city of Shanghai. Visit the Bund; known as the “Wall Street” of the former foreign powers, where during the first half of 20th century the European powers controlled the Chinese economy.
Visit the majestic Garden of Mandarin Yuyuan, built in 1577 and recently stored to its original splendor. Next, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and the famous Shanghai Museum, housing the city’s priceless collection of bronzes, porcelain and paintings.
Evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by an amazing Chinese acrobatic show.

DAY 12 | SHANGHAI - HOME (B)
Transfer to airport for flight return home.
